Why Donate?
The Lions Legacy Fund strives to develop and grow the innate abilities of a young man who can reap the benefit of a quality high school education.
The School initiates a recruitment process by approaching primary schools that serve communities in Gauteng and surrounds. Of these learners, high achieving boys will be selected, and put forward to the Selection Committee comprising representatives from the School and the Parktonian Foundation. Once the beneficiaries are approved by the Selection Committee, candidates are placed at Parktown Boys High School. Boys enter and are supported by the Fund either at:
- a) the beginning of their Grade 8 year right through to matric, or
- b) from the grade in which they enter the school (if they enter after grade 8) right through to matric.
Every boy is regularly monitored to ensure his educational and social needs are attended to. We shall offer partial and full scholarships of between 25 – 100% to broaden the impact of this fund.
