Thank you for considering a donation towards the efforts of the Parktonian Foundation. As a donor, you are entitled to specify how your donation is applied, failing which the trustees shall apply their discretion in allocating the donation.

The categories you may choose from are:

1. Lions Legacy Bursaries

These funds are dedicated to scholars in need of financial assistance, who meet merit conditions such as sports or academic performance or overall involvement in the school.

2. Heart of the Lion Fund 

Parts of our school and its buildings are classified as heritage sites. These funds go towards the upkeep of the general school grounds and allow the school to execute ad hoc projects to ensure continued maintenance and select upgrade projects. You may elect to allocate to:

• general maintenance, or
• a specific maintenance project or upgrade project, a list of which is available on request.

3. Endowment Fund 

In celebration of our centenary year (2023) our ambitious goal is to raise a R100m endowment fund. This fund will go towards funding bursaries and maintaining and adding to the school’s infrastructure that is key to providing a quality education to all current and future scholars for many decades to come.

As the foundation is a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO), all donations made will be deductible for income tax purposes and the Foundation will be able to provide you with a S18A certificate.
