Old Parks Family Fun Day

Old Parks Family Fun Day

On the 14th of November 2020 a Family Fun Day was held at the Old Parktonain’s Sports Club for the Alumni of Girls of Parktown Boys’ and Parktown Girls’ High Schools.

The event was organised by a group of Old Boys from the 1995 year with guidance from Marc Desfontaines and the Parktown Foundation Steerco. The Old Parktonian Club made the event possible by providing the Foundation the use of the premises.

Thanks to one of the Old Boys the Frontier Brewing company provided a few cold ones for refreshments on the day. Mr Malcom Williams and Grant Herholdt formally opened the event and thanked all for attending.

Music and entertainment were provided by Justin Le Roux and Matthew James aka “Matty Boom Batty” on the decks.

All who attended enjoyed the event and are looking forward to further functions of its kind.

The 1995 Old Boys have formally extend a challenge to all other Alumni years that finished in the 1990’s to raise the bar for the next event.

All funds raised by the Parktown Foundation will go towards investment in the respective schools.
